Sometimes it is difficult to understand just what God requires, but let me let you in on something made plain in scripture, that is, simply believe on Him (Jesus) as the one who bore your sin, died in your place, was buried, and whom God resurrected. His resurrection powerfully assures that the believer can claim everlasting life when Jesus is received as Savior. "But to all who did receive him,(Jesus) who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God," (John 1:12). - “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13). ![]() O.K., there it is. Religion and religious people would have you to perform different and various ceremonial acts to prove your salvation, but they miss the point. It is not in what ceremonial acts that are done, but in the internal dispensation of the heart that makes the difference. It is possible to do all ceremonial acts Biblically noted and still be lost if the heart has not changed. Now there is a point of spiritual discipline where you would need to be baptized, give as God has blessed you, spend quality time in prayer, read and study scripture, fast, attend regular worship service and share the Gospel message – all these disciplines and more, lift you into the perfect will of God where you will begin to fully understand the Peace of God and develop personal growth. ![]() That’s why we are here, it is important to be connected with a loving church family, a family that understands, won’t pressure you, that will give correction when you are wrong, after all, if you truly love someone you don’t give them everything they want. What mother would allow her child to do and have anything and everything the child wants at that point in time on demand? Love says no at times, says you’re wrong sometimes; we look to scripture as a guide with real time answers. Some would look to the scriptures for allies where they need to see a master or even a judge, but it does not give us the license to be judgmental, nor are we. ![]() We believe in Holy living, a Holy lifestyle, and freedom in Christ, where there is enough room for every individual to be themselves. Come by, visit a couple times and see for yourself. |
