The word for “children” (Gk., tekna) is not used to speak of an infant. It is a broad term used to speak of all offspring (i.e., anyone born from another person). We are all children in the strictest sense of this word. But the idea here is that anyone who is still under the roof of, under the domination of, under the control of, or under the responsibility of his parents is to obey them.
